Our senior footballers face Aghyaran St Davogs at Dolan Park on Saturday in the semi-final of the Jim Devlin cup with a 2pm throw in. The lads beat a resilient Rock last weekend in the quarters. We would call on our support to turn out to get behind the boys. The juniors open their ACL campaign next weekend at home to Cookstown and we wish Oisin a good and speedy recovery from injury.
The clubs senior hurlers are home on Friday night to Mac Nean HC in the Ulster junior league with an 8pm throw in at O’Neill’s Healy Park.
Our youth Easter camp kicks off today (Thursday) at O’Neill’s Healy Park under the guidance of GDO Cain Bradley and his team of coaches. The camp continues on Friday and the great news is there’s no charge for the camp. A big thank you to our own Junior Hyrox organising team, Darren and the team at Workout Warehouse for Wednesdays event at Healy.
This is a really busy week for our youth teams from Under 14 / 16 boys and girls to minors across several codes, keep up to date with our match details on our socials, remember games and venues are subject to change.
We wish Aidan Clarke, Hugh, Brian and Tyrone every success in Sundays Ulster club championship game against Armagh. We have players representing the club in Tyrone colours on Saturday too in the Tyrone senior hurlers Rackard cup opener, in the Tyrone ladies Under 14 platinum final, U-16 Ulster camogie final and Under 17 Celtic challenge , we wish all our players well.
We are hosting our first ever club supporters night shortly, a night of conversation with all our senior managers across all codes and a chance to show your support for all our teams. Details will be confirmed shortly but its set to be something new and different for all our club players and members.
A date for your diary is May 30th when we officially dedicate the stand at O’Neill’s Healy Park to the memory of Thady Turbett. This is an open invitation to club members , past players and gaels of the County and wider Country who are welcome to attend. The event will include a game, blessing, refreshments and a unique chat show with a host of goalkeeping royalty.
