Well Done U16 Girls & Boys – Congratulations to the U16 footballers who secured a well deserved 2-16 to 1-10 win over Kildress at Greencastle last Saturday (03/10/15) to claim the 2015 Tyrone Grade 2 League title. The boys are now only one win away from securing the League and Championship double for the year and are due to play Edendork in the championship final this Saturday in Dunmolye at 1pm. The u16 girls continued their fine run of form to move past Pomeroy in their championship quarter final at St Patrick’s Park. Final score Omagh 8-15 Pomeroy 0-3 last Sunday.They now play Aghaloo on Sunday at 12 noon.

Gaelic Start – The highly popular Omagh St. Enda’s Gaelic Start Programme for P1, P2 and P3 boys and girls in the Omagh area will resume on Saturday(10/10/15). Children will get the chance to learn the basic fundamentals of Gaelic games in a fun-filled environment before progressing to our highly acclaimed Youth Coaching Programme for Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie. We would advise children to bring warm clothing for AstroTurf coaching sessions (weather permitting).

Senior Action – The Seniors and Reserves both suffered defeats to Errigal Ciaran and effectively ending the chance of a semi final spot for the Seniors and the chance for the reserves to retain the Reserve league this year. Senior and reserve results are as follows: 2-9 – 2-13, 0-10 – 1-11. The League will now come to an end next Sunday (18/10/15) with an away fixture to Dromore.

Scor na nOg – The First Round of the Scor na nOg will take place in St. Patrick’s Hall in Dromore at 7.30pm this Friday (09/10/15). Best wishes to all participants this year.

Calling All Stewards & Helpers – Can all Stewards and helpers please be in attendance for 12 noon at Healy Park this Sunday for the Senior County Final. As the championship season draws to a conclusion the Club would like to thank anyone who has helped out in any capacity over the past few months.

Weekly Bingo – Remember Weekly Bingo continues every Thursday night at 9 in the club-rooms. £3,250 total payout plus an opportunity to win £5,000 on our Club Lotto. Just a reminder that there is a free town bus service for Thursday night bingo in the club-rooms which starts at O’Kane Park at 8.15 with stops on the Tamlaght Road, Pat Kirk’s and Strathroy.

With Sympathy – The Executive Committee and members of St. Enda’s GAA wish to extend their deepest sympathy to club treasurer Paul Meldrum on his recent family bereavement. Mrs Elizabeth March from Newcastle Upon Tyne passed away recently and our condolences are extended to Paul and his family circle at this difficult time. Also sympathy to the family of the late Brigid Campbell, wife of Joe and mother of Nichola, James, Niall and the late Michael, RIP. Mrs Campbell (nee McGrath), of 6 Ardmore Drive, Omagh, passed away on Tuesday (29th Sept).
