Good luck to our seniors for this Sunday’s Ulster final
Ulster final – Another important chapter in the history of St. Enda’s is set to be penned this weekend with our first ever appearance in the Ulster Club senior football final in Armagh against Slaughtneil of Derry. Throw-in for the game in the Athletic Grounds is 3.30pm and it will be preceded by the Intermediate final at 1.30pm.
Get behind the team – All St. Enda’s supporters are urged to get to the ground early and to get behind the team once again. Have your foghorns, bodhrans – and voices – at the ready. The last few flags and club merchandise will go sale from the club shop on Wednesday evening from 6.30pm-7.30pm and again on Friday from 7.30pm-8.30pm for anyone needing to show their colours this Sunday. We need you to be the vital 16th man!! There will be an opportunity for all supporters to meet back in the clubrooms on Sunday night. A big thank you is also extended to the many supporters who turned out for the fund-raising breakfast in the Mellon last Saturday.
Scór success – The great run of success enjoyed by the club this season continued on Sunday afternoon last in Galbally when three of the clubs acts secured further Tyrone Scór na nÓg titles. Congratulations to the Emily Duffy who secured a Recitation title and the Céile and Set Dancing teams comprised of Orlagh O’Kane, Bronagh McGoldrick, Megan McDaid, Caitlin Brophy, Aoife Bogle, Ella Miller, Edwinna McNamee, Nikitta McGlinchey, Ciaran Breen, Aidan Kelly, Tom Lannon, Kaeliph Dillon, Anna Woodhead and Brianna Gormley. Although disappointed all other acts brought great credit to themselves by producing great performances in a highly competitive event. A bus is being organised for the Ulster semi -final on Saturday 13th December in Corcahan Community Centre, Co Monaghan. If interested can you text David on 07742242072 by Sunday 30th November. Panto next week – Apart from this weekend’s big game, the next big thing to look forward to is next week’s Christmas pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, in St. Joseph’s Hall on Thurs 4th, Fri 5th, Sat 6th and Sun 7th Dec at 7.30pm. There will be matinee shows on the Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Admission £8 (adults) and £5 (OAP/children). Pay at the door. It is advisable to come early as big crowds are expected and admission cannot be guaranteed in the event of a full house.
Final indoor camogie – The final indoor camogie/hurling session of the season will take place in Omagh Leisure Centre tomorrow (Fri) at 8pm before everyone takes a well earned break for Christmas.
Gaelic Start – Gaelic Start continues this Saturday at 10am in the CBS with the children’s Christmas Party scheduled for Saturday 6th Dec.
Lotto – Last week’s Club Lotto numbers (Nov 21st) were 1, 9, 18, 19, 30. There was no winner of the £5,000 Jackpot. DJ McEnhill and Joseph Maguire of Derrylin win £50 each with four numbers.
