Action next week – After a quiet period, all action resumes next week with the following youth and adult games on the cards.
- On Monday U14 hurlers recommence their league with a home game against Cappagh at 7.30pm.
- On Tuesday the U21s are at home to Kildress for their championship quarter-final at 7.30pm.
- On Wednesday the U16 boys footballers commence their league campaign with the A team away to Newtownstewart in Grade 1 while the Devs are at home to Aghaloo in Grade 4. Both games have a 7.30pm throw-in.
- The seniors and reserves resume their league campaign on Sunday 27th with home games against Carrickmore.
Hurling training – Training for U14 and U12 hurlers recommences this evening (Thurs) in St. Patrick’s Pk at 7pm. Following on form the success of the Feile any player wishing to play hurling is welcome to attend any of our weekly sessions.
U16 Boys football – U16 football training continues each Friday in St. Patrick’s Park 6pm-7.15pm.
U16 Girls football – Training for U16 girls football commences in early August. Any player interested in participating should contact Martin Lynch on 07799345628 Parents or senior ladies players who are interested in coaching this team should also make contact with Martin.
Minor boys football – The minor boys exited the 2014 League campaign after losing in a thrilling Grade 1 quarter-final at Healy Park on Friday evening.
Summer Camp – The club’s four-day summer camp will run from the 18th to 24th August. Application forms can now be downloaded from the club website.
Lotto – Last week’s (July 10th) club lotto numbers were 11,14,15,16, 19. There was no winner of the £5,000 Jackpot. Mary Warnock of Gortin with 4 numbers wins £100.
Wedding belles – Best wishes to club Cultural Officer David Tierney and his fiancée Marie Corcoran who got married this week.
Sympathy – The club would like to extend sympathy to the Pritchard family circle on the death of Ted and the McElroy family of Clogher and Omagh on their recent bereavements.
