Big games – Healy Park will this Sunday host Tyrone’s latest All-Ireland qualifer game against Armagh at 3pm. The game will be preceded by an Ulster U21 Hurling Championship quarter-final game between Tyrone and Armagh at 12.45pm. All club members who are available to carry out stewarding duties on Sunday including programme selling, shops and traffic management, must text secretary Paul Breen on 07803 876555 by Friday to confirm attendance. Stewards to be present from 11.30am.
Championship – The U21s continued their Knockout campaign on Tuesday past with a 2-17 to 2-10 win over Killycogher. Tomorrow evening (Friday) the minors will resume competitive action after a lengthy lay-off when they play Stewartstown in the Grade 1 League quarter-final at 8pm. A good support would be appreciated.
Senior ladies – Well done to the senior ladies who scored a comprehensive 1-17 to 0-4 win over Aghayran in the Intermediate championship on Monday night. Best wishes to Orla McNamee for a speedy recovery after breaking a wrist in a recent league game.
U16 football – U16 boys football training continues this evening (Thurs) and Monday in St. Patrick’s Park from 6pm. New players welcome. The league commences on the 23rd July.
U14 hurling – The U14 hurlers recommence their league campaign on Monday 21st July with training resuming next Thursday (17th) from 7pm.
U12 football – U12 football coaching continues on Friday from 6.30pm.
Sympathy – The Executive Committee and members extend their deepest sympathy to the McGinn family and circle of friends on the death of Mr Gussie (Augustine) McGinn of Gardenville Avenue, Omagh. Mr McGinn is father of Brendan, Bronagh and Rachael and senior and youth team coaches Barry and Tony. He is predeceased by his wife Julia.
Lotto – Last week’s Club Lotto numbers (July 3rd) were 7, 11, 18, 19, 30. There was no winner of the £5,000 Jackpot. Larry McVeigh of Galbally with four numbers wins £100.
