Scór delight – What a weekend it was for the club’s Scór teams with the Ceili and Ballad group winning Ulster titles at the provinical final in Downpatrick. While there was great jubilation for those who secured a place in the All-Ireland final, our thoughts go out to the Instrumental team of Paul McGlinchey, John Woods, Gerry McCullagh, Mark McCrystall and Dermot O’Hagan who were narrowly pipped for honours but they proved to be great ambassadors for our club and no doubt we will see them back on the provincial stage next year. For the dancers David Tierney, Paul Breen, Faelan Duffy, Damian Friel, Michelle Mullin, Leanne McCullagh, Amy McElhatton, Lauren Murphy and ballad group of Eolann Duffy, Faelan Duffy, Edward Byrne, Padhraic Colton, Conal O’Kane, it’s now all systems go for the All-Ireland decider in Castlebar on Saturday 26th April.
