Naomh Eanna An Omaigh
Well done to our history making U-14 hurlers who claimed a first grade 1 hurling title in 33 years at the weekend when they beat Dungannon to claim the league title. The side now prepare for the championship final against Naomh Columcille next Tuesday at Garvaghy. The senior hurlers are also gearing up for the Tyrone junior championship final on October 6th at O’Neills Healy Park.
Our senior camog’s first season ended with their championship exit last Friday night. It has been a year of learning for the players as they stepped up and we all thank them and their management for their efforts this year.
There’s still lots of coaching continuing with youth girls on Tuesday and hurling on Thursday. Go on let your children have a go. The teams are still enjoying blitz action.
On the park in youth football our U-16 boys face Dromore on Saturday at Gardrum Park (12 noon) in the grade 2 championship.
The first weekend of October will be a special one for our club as it marks forty years since our fine clubrooms opened. To mark the occasion there will be a special St Enda’s reunion for the County final teams in senior and minor football as well as all members of the club teams and their families from 1984 as well as an exhibition of photos from 1984. The event on October 5th will be hosted by club President Paddy Mc Mahon and there’s an open invite.

Our club lotto plays a big part in our club support…It’s just £1 per entry for a chance for a big £5K jackpot . There were no winners on 2-9-14-15-30 with four £25 winners Susan O’Neill, Ronan O’Neill, Oliver O’Neill and Ariana McRory
Our new development plan is reaching a conclusion and will be finalised over the next few weeks with a launch date to be announced.
We have another busy weekend at O’Neill’s Healy Park starting tonight Thursday with the senior replay and a double bill of junior semi-finals on Friday night. Once again we will need a full turn out of club volunteers to make it all happen.
Our Toddlers return this and every Monday…..see you there.
