Our senior ladies had a disappointing finish to a great day at the Ulster Ladies Club Champions
50th anniversary tournament in garvaghy on Saturday. The Girls reached the semi final but just came up short against eventual winners St Paul’s having had a great days football.
A memorable occasion to be invited as a club that won an Ulster club title and thanks to Ulster President Gerry Doherty and the organising team for the invite. We beat Ballinascreen Derry in the 2010 Ulster junior club final going on to the all Ireland final only to miss out in a replay. Both Christiane Hunter-Quinn and Louise Moynagh from that year are still playing and were delighted to take part on Saturday.
