NAOMH EANNA AN OMAIGH

The senior footballers opened their all county league campaign on Monday night but just came up short against Dungannon. The side return to action on Friday night with a short trip to Gortin for senior and reserve football. The juniors lost to Brocagh on Friday night  returning to O’Neill’s Healy Park tonight (Thursday) to play Brackaville. The game throws in at 8pm and a turnout of support would be great.

Congratulations to Callum Daly and the Omagh men in the backroom team of the Tyrone Under 20s who claimed the all Ireland title last week. An historic back to back title for Callum, Cathal, Conor and Shane.

The clubs Under 14 girls claimed the Tyrone ladies grade 1 silver league title on Tuesday night with a win over St Macartans while the clubs minor girls wrapped up their grade 1 league campaign at the weekend finishing unbeaten, they face Dromore in the Championship on Friday night at Gardrum Park.

Our Under 16 hurlers sadly lost Mondays Under 16 hurling league final  at Garvaghey to Eire Og but deserve great credit for their effort and endeavour while it was a great night last Friday as our PP Camogie side brought the Pat Darcy plate to Omagh with a win over Tulagh Og. The PP camogs are back in action on Friday in the Tier two league fu=inal at MUSA.

With the clubs Feile hurlers and camog’s heading to the national finals we are now on the search for sponsorship and support. Please cast an eye on our facebook pages to see what you could do to help these young players.
