NAOMH EANNA AN OMAIGH
Last Friday February 28th marked the 93nd anniversary of the formation of our club in St Patricks Hall. We take time to remember the men who took the step to form this club and the people who have carried the standard since.
Minors and Under 14s were all in action at the weekend. The minors had wins in both their games the Under 14 B and C teams claimed wins the A team lost. The teams are back out on Saturday with the 14s A hosting Galbally and Cs home to Eglish as the B side go to Errigal. On Sunday in the minor league its away to Beragh and Aghyaran.
Our Under 16 hurlers opened their season at Eire Og Carrickmore on Monday night. Unfortunately despite a battling display they came out on the wrong side.
Our Under 14 girls open their season on Sunday with trips to Cill Iseal and Dromore as senior training continues. Best of good wishes to our ladies on the County Under 14 and minor squads this weekend as well as Sophie Mc Cance and the Tyrone camogie under 16s. Sophie recently Captained the County side.
Youth Ladies football continues this week and Youth Camogie returns to O’Neill’s Healy Park on Friday between 6pm and 7pm . Coaching is open to Primary school girls and equipment is provided.
Well done to Daire Sally who Captained Tyrone’s minor hurlers to the Ulster Shield at the weekend with fellow Omagh teammates Caolan Lloyd and Cormac Tinney. Best of luck to our club representatives on the Counties Under 20 hurling squad in their Ulster final this weekend.
It’s the Tyrone senior Scor final on Saturday at Dun Uladh. We wish our finalists in rince foirne, nauchleas and bailead Ghrupha the very best of good luck. Support would be welcomed.

The search is on for old photos, memorabilia, medals and old jerseys etc. We are developing a collection but need your help. Photos will be copied and returned. We especially seek a 2001 and 2009 minor ladies photos and a copy of the minor boys 2005.
