NAOMH EANNA AN OMAIGH

On Sunday our senior hurlers face Naomh Columcille in the Tyrone junior hurling final at 1pm. It’s a massive opportunity to build on last years success and the great work that continues with the wee ball. Our best wishes to Paul, his management team and team as they attempt to bring us success again.

It’s a special weekend for Omagh St Enda’s as we mark forty years of our clubrooms that were opened on 6th October 1984 and the teams, players and officials that represented  the club in the GAA’s Centenary year. We host a special event on Saturday night that gets underway at 8pm sharp and will feature several facets to mark the fortieth. The invitation is open to anyone connected to the club and their families. A small exhibition will also be on show through the next few weeks.

We are playing host to seven games this weekend at O’Neills Healy Park including the ladies and hurling finals. We are asking all our members to make an extra effort to lend a hand.

This is a big weekend too for our future stars with the resumption of Gaelic Start for our P1s and under in our hall at O’Neills Healy Park on Saturday. Action starts with our GDO Cain Bradley at 9-30am sharp.

Our young hurlers were in action on Tuesday night and created history by wining the championship to compplete the double.Congratulations everyone. Our under 16s are on championship duty tonight Thursday away to Eire Og with the footballers facing Drumquin in the league on Saturday.

Our Caife 32 remains a hub for our club and the wider community. It’s open daily serving breakfasts and lunches and is available for parties.

Please download our Club and County App for all the latest club news and information. We are encouraging all our members to get it from your app store.

Sacred Heart Church will be hosting a very special mass that will include all the clubs of the Parish on Missionary Sunday 20th October. More details to follow.
