Naomh Eanna An Omaigh

Our senior ladies season came to a close on Sunday as they lost to Carrickmore in the senior championship. A battling display from the girls who will now regroup and refocus on senior football again in 2025. Thanks to the players and management for all the effort this season.

Several of the girls were also involved with our senior camogie side who eventually lost to Brocagh in the Tyrone junior league final on Saturday. It was a great achievement for the girls in their first season to make so much progress. A nig step forward and well done to Kevin Cunningham and Donal Lagan for their efforts. The team face Brocagh again on Friday night in the championship at Dungannon.

The clubs Under 14 hurlers progressed to Saturday’s  Tyrone grade 1 league final on Saturday. The game against Eoghan Rua Dungannon is fixed for 11am at Pairc Eire Og Carrickmore. We wish the lads well.

Quid Games proved to be a memorable night at the club last weekend. Well done to the organising team headed by Mark Gormley and Owen Falconer, they done sterling work  with Joe Mc Mahon and Cathal Mc Carron excellent MCs on the night. We had two big winners Paul O’Grady our hurling manager and ladies footballer Ellen Gormley picked up the prizes but the real winner was the club with every section represented on a fun filled night.

We have another bumper double bill of games on Friday night in the Tyrone championship and we need a full team out at the park to help make the night a success. As ONE club we want to see everyone out to lend a hand.

In youth football our U16 boys face Kildress on Monday in the league.

The club will celebrate forty years of the clubrooms at a special event on October 5th. All the teams from 1984 are invited to come along for a memorable night hosted by our President Paddy Mc Mahon. If you were involved forty years ago get in touch.
