The Committee and members of Naomh Éanna An Ómaigh were deeply saddened to learn of the death yesterday of Seamus McBrearty, Ravensdale, Dundalk.
Seamus is the brother of esteemed member Eileen McGirr and uncle of club treasurer Declan, and members Nuala McGirr, Clare Kirwan and John Kearney.
Seamus was a member of our 1957 Senior Championship winning team and scored the only goal of the game in the final in a 1-7 to 0-3 victory over Derrylaughan.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Niamh and his children, Ciara, John, Aoife and Conal and to the extended family.
Funeral to take place on Tuesday 8th March at 11.00am in St Mary’s Church, Ravensdale followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
