Commiserations – Hard luck to our Ceili and Sets teams who narrowly missed out on success at the Ulster Scór na nÓg final held in Silverbridge Co Armagh on Saturday (12/12/15). Both teams performed very well in a very highly competitive competition. Well done boys and girls.
Congratulations – The inaugural Ulster Ladies Awards night proved a happy hunting ground for Cavan and Tyrone as between them they picked up all five awards on offer in Kelly’s Inn on Friday night (11/12/15). It proved to be a great night for two Omagh club men as well as club photographer Dominic McClements and Tyrone Ladies PRO Paddy Hunter collected two of the awards. Paddy picked up the award for the best County Final programme. The club ladies football officer actually produced 3 excellent colour publications, while Dominic received an award for Best Action Shot of the Year for pictures from the club’s U16 Ladies games in 2015.

With Sympathy – The Executive Committee and members of St. Enda’s GAA regret to announce the passing of our long serving handball stalwart John Smith. A renowned Gael, John (82) was well known throughout the country for his love of Irish culture, our music, our language and our games, but he was particularly fond of the game of handball. He was a founding member of Omagh Handball Club and was also a key driver in the founding of Loughmacrory Handball Club in 1967. The Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday (15th Dec) at 2pm in St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
