St. Enda’s 2-16, Kildress 1-10:
Congratulations to the U16 footballers who secured a well deserved 2-16 to 1-10 win over Kildress at Greencastle today to claim the 2015 Tyrone Grade 2 League title.
An early scrambled goal from Ciaran Lagan put the St. Enda’s boys on their way as they opened up a commanding 1-10 to 0-4 lead by the break. As Kildress tried to make a comeback in the second half, goalkeeper Nathan McNamee made some outstanding saves and a goal from substitute Jack McGirr effectively killed off their challenge.
The boys are now only one win away from securing the League and Championship double for the year and are due to play Edendork in the championship final next week.
