Sympathy

The Executive Committee and members of St. Enda’s GAA wish to extend their deepest sympathy to youth team mentor Donal Lagan on the death of his father Dan.

The late Mr Lagan of Kirley House, 83 Fivemilestraight, Maghera, who was grandfather to youth players Orlagh and Ciaran, passed away on Monday. His grandson Ciaran was member of the Tyrone minor hurling panel which won the All-Ireland C final on Saturday and then played a key part in the St. Enda’s U16 football semi-final win on Sunday. Orlagh is also a key member of our ladies teams. Donal has been a leading driver of our youth teams in recent years and more recently mentor for our U16 hurling team as well as our camogie teams.

Funeral from his home tomorrow (Wed) at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Patrick, Glen, with interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen, sons and daughters and large family circle.
