BBQ – The annual club BBQ will be held on Saturday 20th June. Tickets are currently available from the club bar. The event will coincide with the visit of St. Patrick’s GAA of Drangan, Co Tipperary for the Feile and as a large crowd is expected it is important to secure your BBQ ticket early.

Championship win – Congratulations to St. Enda’s seniors who scored an emphatic 0-10 to 0-3 win over Carrickmore in the opening round of the 2015 championship at a bitterly cold Pomeroy on Friday night. The game, which was a re-run of last year’s county final, proved to be a dogged affair with the gale-force wind which swept across the Pomeroy pitch making conditions exceptionally difficult for both sides. Playing with what limited assistance the gale did provide in the first half, the St. Enda’s men opened up a 0-6 to 0-2 lead at half-time and although Carrickmore had wind support in the second half, they were held to just one point for the remainder of the game. Check out our championship photos here.

Camogie trip – Well done to the parents and children who concluded their ‘Hurl With Me’ programme with a national blitz in Dublin. While the theme of the day was fun, all of the games were keenly contested and the Omagh parents, most of whom have never played before, produced wonderful performances against more experienced opponents from Cork, Clare and Mayo. Many thanks to everyone who participated, and to Declan Sherlock and Ger Gribben for making the programme a great success. Check out our video of the event here.

Senior league – The senior men will now play the Moy on Sunday in Moy at 2.15pm an 3.45pm.

U14 Football and Hurling – Hard luck to the U14 footballers who lost to Carrickmore in the semi-final of the League on Thursday evening. With the Tyrone season now over the boys have the Ulster Peile na nOg to look forward to at the end of June. Before that, eight of the football squad – Jordan O’Reilly, Ben Groogan, Cormac Taggart, Dylan Taggart, Cahir Turbett, Adam Groogan, Fionnbharr Taggart and Ben McFarland – will also be playing hurling in the All-Ireland Féile na nGael from the 19th to 21st June when Tipperary Club St. Patrick’s GAA will be hosted in Omagh.

Minor Championship – The Omagh St. Enda’s Minors will play Moortown in Moortown on Friday Night in the Minor Championship at 7.30. Best of luck to all involved,
