ANOTHER milestone was reached in the history of St. Enda’s today (Sat 15th May) when our newest development – the magnificant Ball Wall and 4G training pitch – was officially opened.
Our Honorary President and PP Monsignor Donnelly presided at the official ribbon cutting ceremony and blessing watched by over 100 club members, players and supporters on a sunny Saturday morning.
The St. Enda’s U12 footballers and hurlers, boys and girls, gave club members a demonstration of the training drills being being used at the Ball Wall during today’s ceremony and Club Omagh members who have been instrumental in raising the necessary funds for the development got an opportunity to see at first hand the work that has been carried out at Healy Park over the past six months.
The facility is the third new development project at St. Enda’s with our Club Omagh fund-raising committee instrumental in raising necessary funds for work at the club. Earlier projects included the re-opening of St. Patrick’s Park and the Club Gym at Healy Park. Many thanks to all the Club Omagh members whose financial contribution has been key to the work at the club.
If you would like to join Club Omagh and help to raising funds for our next development project – the refurbishment of our main hall, please do not hesitate to contact Club Omagh Chairman Seamus Hannigan 07540 069360 or any Club Member.
