Senior League – This Saturday, the senior mens football season swings in to action with games against Augher in the Reserves League (4.30pm) and Senior League (6pm). We encourage all supporters to get behind all the club teams as they embark on what will hopefully be another great season.
Easter Camp – The inaugural St. Enda’s Easter Camp comes to a conclusion today (Thursday) and has proven to be a major success. Many thanks to all the children who attended and the coaches who were present over the past two days. Check out photos from the camp here
Up for the Final – The club’s Ceili Dancing and Léiriú teams are currently busy in rehearsals for the All-Ireland Scór final in Dublin on the 25th April but as part of the build-up, join us for a feast of entertainment in the Clubrooms on Friday week (17th April) for a special ‘Up for the Final’ fundraising night.
Golf Classic – Also keep Friday 15th May free for this year’s annual Club Omagh Golf Classic at Omagh Golf Club. Everyone is welcome (golfers & non-golfers) so please spread the word and get your tee times booked early to avoid disappointment. Contact Paul O’Neill on 07772738462 to book your tee time.
County honours – Congratulations to our senior players Ciaran McLaughlin and Conor Meyler who both featured for Tyrone U21s in their victory over Donegal at Derry. It was a great honour for both players with Conor scoring the crucial goal in the 1-11 to 0-13 win. Also well done to St. Enda’s minor players, Liam Flanagan and Ciaran Lagan, who won Ulster Minor Hurling League (Div 2) medals last Saturday and became the first St. Enda’s hurlers in many years to win a medal in Tyrone colours.
Youth action – Anyone who would like to play U16 or Minor hurling this year for Omagh should contact Kevin Cunningham (07593 946481) or Donal Lagan (07710 410557) for further details. The U16 hurlers will play in a Tyrone blitz this Saturday while the U10 footballers will also be in blitz action this Saturday. U14 Peile na nOg games are also scheduled for this Saturday.
Irish Bursary – An application form for this year’s year’s Irish Language Bursary Scheme which is run through the Council is now available from the clubrooms or can be found on the club Facebook Page.
Lotto – This week’s Club Lotto numbers (April 2nd) are 10, 17, 21, 26and 30. There was no winner of the 5,000 Jackpot. 4 Draw winners of £25 each are Seanie Meyler, E Marshall, D O’Neill and Carmel Rafferty.
