Scór champions – Congratulations to our ceili dancers, instrumental music, léiriú and ballad groups in claiming Tyrone Scór Sinsear titles last weekend in Coalisland. Well done to all the other finalists who represented the club. A bus is being organised to the Ulster Semi Final, in Killeshandra, Co. Awards – St. Enda’s is in line for further awards at the forthcoming Ulster Herald Sports Awards night on the 6th March but we need your votes. Senior captain Hugh Gallagher is in running for the overall Sports Personality of the Year Award, while St. Enda’s has been shortlisted for the overall Club of the Year Award in recognition of all our successes in 2014 on and off the pitch. We encourage our club members to cast their votes for Hugh and for the club on the Ulster Herald website.

Foundation course – A Foundation Level Course in Gaelic Football run by the Tyrone County Board is being held at Healy Park on Saturday 7th March 2015 (9.00.am- 2.00pm) for Omagh St Enda’s Coaches. This is the first step on the Coaching ladder. All past and present players, Parents of underage players, or if you are enthused in becoming involved in Coaching at St Enda’s, are encouraged to attend. Youth coaching – The coaching schedule for the week coming is as follows:
- Thursday- U8/10 Camogie 6.00-7.00pm at Omagh Leisure Centre, U12 Hurling 6.00-7.00pm at Omagh Leisure Centre, U14 Football v Derrygonnelly (Away) 7.30 throw in.
- Friday- Minor Ladies training 3.30-5.00pm at St Patrick’s Park. U12 Boys Football 6.00-7.00pm at CBS. U16 hurling training at CBS Friday at 5.00-6.00pm on Friday.
- Saturday- U8/10 football/hurling 10.00-12.00pm at CBS astro turf pitch. U14 boys football training 1.00-2.30pm at St Patrick’s Park; Gaelic Start for P1, P2 and P3 children in the CBS sportshall from 10am.
- All sessions cost £1.
Ladies football – Minor Ladies v Coalisland throw in at 4.00pm at St Patrick’s Park on Saturday.
U14 football – On Sunday the U14 Boys play Castlefin at St Patrick’s Park, a time for the game will be confirmed closer to the game.
Minor football – The Boys minor football fixtures for this Sunday have been rescheduled to accommodate a clash in school fixtures. Both Minor teams games have been rescheduled for Sunday the 14th March.
Presentation night – There will be a presentation night on Friday for the U13 footballers (below) who were runners-up in last year’s championship and U14 hurlers (above) who won the Feile na nGael Shield final from 7.30-9.00pm at Healy Park clubrooms.
Senior football – St. Enda’s seniors will begin the defence of their Tyrone championship title with a mouth watering opening round game against Carrickmore in a repeat of the 2014 decider. The mens Senior team have been invited to play in the Malachy Murdock Memorial Tournament in Burren, Co. Down with a game against Cullyhanna at 1.45pm.
Cycle – Plans are currently underway for a summer fundraising cycle, details will be announced shortly. In the meantime, anyone wishing to take part in our weekly group cycle should meet at Fireagh Picnic area on Clanabogan Road this Sunday morning at 10.30am.
NFL game – Healy Park will host round 3 of the National League between Tyrone and Derry with throw in at 7pm. Stewarts are asked to be in attendance for 5.30pm.
U21 winners – Congratulations to both Conor Meyler and Ciaran McLaughlin on there recent success with the Tyrone under 21 squad when the won the Shamrock Cup after a win over Monaghan.
