Peter Tierney RIP – The funeral took place today (Thursday) at 10am in the Sacred Heart Church of one of the club’s most esteemed members, Peter Tierney. Many thanks to the many club members who turned out to pay their final tributes to Peter by forming a guard of honour outside the chapel and at the graveside. Members also flanked the coffin as it made its way to and from the church. Peter who was treasurer between 2008 and 2012, passed away this week following a relatively short illness. He will be greatly missed by everyone in St. Enda’s and our deepest sympathy is extended to his wife Veronica, sons Shane and Conor and extended family. Read full tribute here.
