By Kristina Thu 13th Nov

St. Enda's 2014-11-02 168 v Crossmaglen

On the road to Derry – All roads will lead to Celtic Park in Derry this Sunday where we hope to see as many St. Enda’s supporters as possible for our big Ulster semi-final clash with St. Eunan’s of Letterkenny at 2.30pm. Fans are asked to get together in the stand from 1.30pm and to give the team the best possible support. Good luck to the players and management.

PrintMellon for a Meal – After the game why not stop off at our main sponsors the Mellon Country Hotel for a post-match meal. There’s a brilliant menu offering nine delicious choices for just £6.95 and will be available for St. Enda’s supporters from 4.45pm.

Healy Park games – Sunday has presented a bit of a dilemma for some members as Healy Park has also been chosen to host the second Ulster semi-final between Slaughtneil and Clontibret at the same time and an Intermediate semi-final between Derrylin and Inniskeen at 12.45pm. Unfortunately this means that some members will not get a chance to travel to Derry to support our own players. Anyone who is unable to attend the game in Celtic Park but who is available to help out at Healy Park should contact John McElholm on 07921 577319 asap. Stewards need to be in attendance at Healy Park from 11am.

Scór finalists – St. Enda’s will have eight teams in the Tyrone Scór na nÓg final in Galbally on Sunday 23rd November. The following acts have progressed to the decider following the semi-final held in Newtownstewart last Friday night – Ceili team (Mens), Instrumental Music group (Mens), Recitation – Emily Duffy (Camogs), Ballad Group (Mens), Leiriu’s (Mens & Camogs), Sets teams (Mens & Camogs). Hard luck to the Camogie Ceili team, Solo Singer Caitlin Campbell and Recitation Adam Groogan who were very unlucky to be pipped at the post.Jack and the Beanstalk Poster FINAL

Panto – After the resounding success of last year’s Cinderella Panto, St. Enda’s members will take to the stage again next month for Jack and the Beanstalk. Make sure to keep the 4th-7th December free for what promises to be a great weekend of entertainment.

AGM – The club’s AGM has been scheduled for Tuesday 13th January. Nomination forms will be made available shortly for anyone who would like to stand for a position next year.

Youth coaching – Please note there will be no Gaelic Start session this Saturday. Sessions will resume on the 22nd November. Boys U8 and U10 football and hurling coaching will take place in the main hall at Healy Park on Saturday morning from 10am. Indoor camogie and hurling for U8 and U10 boys and girls continues in Omagh Leisure Centre on Friday from 8pm-9pm. Admission £2.

Youth management – Any club member who is interested in managing, coaching or just helping out  with any of our youth teams next season – Boys and Girls Football, Hurling and Camogie from U6-U18 level – is asked to get in contact with Club Secretary Paul Breen (07803 876555) by Monday 17th November. All requests will be considered by the Club Committee.

Sympathy – The club extends sympathy to the family and friends of the late Michael Holywood and Christine Sharkey who passed away recently.

Mass for deceased members – There will be a Mass for deceased members on Tuesday 25th Nov at 7.30pm.

Lotto – Last week’s Club Lotto numbers were 14,16,17, 21, 30. There was no winner of the £5,000 Jackpot. Paddy McMahon Jnr wins £100 with four numbers.

Awards night – The club have a few tickets available for the forthcoming TeamTalk awards in Bundoran on the 28th November. Anyone who is interested in attending should contact John McElholm on 07921577319.

Grant administrators – The club is currently seeking the support of club members who may have experience or knowledge of Community Development schemes, funding programmes and grant application processes. We need your help. Anyone who is interested in supporting the Committee in that area is asked to contact chairman John McElholm on 07921577319 or email jmcelholm@aol.com asap.
