Last weekend it was the senior men who were in the limelight but this weekend it is the turn of the senior ladies who will enter the race for provincial honours on Saturday when they host Mullahoran of Cavan in Healy Park at 2pm in the Ulster Intermediate Championship.
Good luck to all the players as they hope to enjoy a good run in the series. Several of the players have experience in this level of competition after the team went all the way to the Ulster Intermediate final in 2011 where they lost to Lisnaskea. The previous year the team won the Ulster Junior championship and reached the All-Ireland final which, coincidentally, was played in Mullahoran, the home ground of this Sunday’s opponents.
We saw how a great support helped our senior men over the line last Sunday so it would be greatly appreciated by the ladies to see another good level of support for the team in this crucial of games. Please get there early and bring your flags.
