Tyrone and Kilkenny united….The Omagh St. Enda’s and Barrow Rangers boys join forces at the end of their opening Féile game at Healy Park.
Friday 20th June 2014 will go down as another historic day for Omagh St. Enda’s as we welcomed Kilkenny club Barrow Rangers to Healy Park for the opening day of the All-Ireland U14 Hurling Féile na nGael.
After a highly entertaining opening game, the visitors emerged victors but the St. Enda’s boys produced an inspired performance to run the Kilkenny boys close in the opening first half before the visitors greater experience pushed them over the winning line in the end.
In the evening, both teams then travelled to Armagh for the official opening ceremony of the Féile before the visitors returned to their host families.
The games continue throughout Saturday with a BBQ planned for the evening. Additional photos on our Photo Gallery (see link at top of page).
