Kilkenny club Barrow Rangers will be guests of St. Enda’s for the All-Ireland U14 Hurling Feile on the weekend of 20th – 22nd June.
Barrow Rangers are based around the villages of Paulstown and Goresbridge, approximately 12 miles from Kilkenny City, and play Junior hurling and football in Kilkenny.
The club’s U14 team will stay with the families of St. Enda’s players throughout the weekend of the Feile which is being hosted by Ulster for 2014 and 2015.
The event will commence on Friday 20th June with the first group game being played between St. Enda’s and Barrow Rangers at 2pm in Healy Park. Later that evening, the focus of Friday evening will then shift to the official Feile Opening Ceremony at Armagh Athletic Grounds.
On Saturday morning (21st June) the group games will continue in Healy Park with games against Four Masters of Donegal and Wolf Tones of Longford.
The top two teams in Group Six will qualify for the Cup Quarterfinals and the bottom two teams will qualify for the Shield Quarter Finals to be played in Healy Park on Saturday afternoon.
The winners of the quarter finals will go through to play semi finals on the Sunday morning at 11am and 12noon in Healy Park with the winners proceeding to the finals in Garvaghey on the Sunday afternoon.
