St. Enda’s senior ladies continued their intermediate league campaign on Friday night with a 4-10 to 2-8 win over Loughmacrory in the perfect surroundings of St Patrick’s Park.
A changed Omagh line up with several players unavailable took time to settle but still led 1-6 to 1-2 at the break with Christiane Hunter finding the net and points from Cara McCrossan, Hayley Ballard, Terrie McCullagh and Emma Collins.
Ballard’s early second half goal settled Omagh and despite some quality scores from Lisa McAleer St Enda’s never looked back with Hunter latching on another point and teeing up McCrossan for a goal. Orlagh McNamee hit Omagh’s fourth goal.
A good performance with Emma Ward, Nicola Donnelly, Coleen McCullagh and Terri McCullagh working hard with Hunter, Ballard and McCrossan looking sharp again. Anne Cunningham once again produced several good saves.
It was a dogged display from Loughmacrory who created plenty of chances but Omagh’s unbeaten run continues.
St. Enda’s scorers – Cara McCrossan 1-3, Hayley Ballard 1-3, Christiane Hunter 1-1, Orlagh McNamee 1-0, Terrie McCullagh 0-1, Eireann McSorley 0-1, Emma Collins 0-1
