Weekly news round-up – 16.1.14

Fight Night Tickets – Tickets for the club’s big Black and White Fight Night on Saturday 15th February are currently selling well and if any club member does not want to be disappointed, they are advised to place their order this week. Ticket requests can be made by texting our ticket box office number 07769 727990. Please state your name, mobile number, number of tickets required and whether or not you prefer seating (£20) or standing (£15) tickets. A limited number of seating tickets are available. Meanwhile the boxers continue to train hard and everyone is encouraged to give them their support over the coming weeks. Further details of their progress can be found on the club website and facebook pages.

Ladies AGM – The annual general meeting of the Ladies football committee will be held in the clubrooms on Monday next at 8pm. Everyone interested in the development of ladies football at all levels in the club should attend.

Youth Registration – A very successful youth AGM was held on Sunday last. Youth registration for 2014 will take place in the clubrooms on Saturday 1st February and everyone wishing to play football (boys and girls), hurling, camogie or participate in Scór in the season ahead should attend. All newcomers welcome. A registration form will be available to download from the club website shortly.

Gaelic Start – Gaelic Start coaching sessions will resume on Saturday 1st February.

U14 football and hurling – Training for U14 boys has commenced and this Saturday training will take place at Strathroy Gaelic pitch at 1pm and everyone is welcome to attend. A team of U14 hurlers will attend an Ulster 7-a-side indoor blitz in Magherafelt this Saturday from 1pm-3pm. Players will be contacted re transport details.

U21s – Congratulations to St. Enda’s pair Ciaran McLaughlin and Conor Meyler who have been selected for the Tyrone U21 football panel.

2014 membership – Everyone is encouraged to sign up for Club Omagh membership in 2014 as development plans are being put in place.

Dancing classes – Set Dancing classes for youth continues on Friday evenings in the clubrooms from 7-8.30pm.

Scór finals – Anyone interested in travelling by bus to Silverbridge on Saturday 25th January to support our Scór na nÓg contestants in the Ulster final should contact Catherine Simmonds on 07808049108 asap.

Lotto – Last week’s club Lotto numbers are 2, 4, 10, 25 and 28. There was no winner of the £5,000 Jackpot. Sheila McCullagh with four numbers wins £100.
