Anniversary reunion – There will be a special celebration in the clubrooms this Saturday night to mark the 25th and 50th anniversary of our last senior football championship successes in 1963 and 1988. It promises to be a night of great nostalgia and everyone is welcome to come along from 8pm to meet our O’Neill Cup heroes of the past.
Scór finalists – On the Scór scene ten of our 14 acts have qualified for the Tyrone Scór Na nÓg finals on December 1. Congratulations to everyone involved and commiserations to those who were narrowly pipped at the penultimate stage. Full details of our Scór participants can be found on our website.
AGM – The club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 10th Dec at 8pm. Nomination forms can be downloaded here
Motions & Recommendations 2013 AGM
Forms can also be collected from clubrooms this weekend. Alternatively contact an Runaí Paul Breen on 07803 876555. Closing date for nominations and motions is Dec 1. The AGM will be preceded by the annual Mass for deceased members.
Girls Day Out – This Saturday the club girls footballers will have an afternoon of action in the Julia McGinn Memorial Cup at Healy Park commencing at 3pm followed by presentations at 5pm. All Under 8s, 10s and 12s should be there for 2.45pm sharp. The U14s have an end of season game at 1.30pm.
Camogie – The U6 camogs had an enjoyable blitz to finish their season last Friday. This Friday the ‘senior’ girls will stage their own blitz commencing at 7pm in the CBS.
Hurling – The U16 hurlers play in their second 7-aside blitz in Garvaghey this evening (Thurs). Last week the U14 hurlers held their presentation in the clubrooms with Ciaran Lagan named Player of the Year and Mark Corry as Most Promising hurler.
Cinderalla – Preparations are well underway for our Pantomime from 6-8th Dec in St. Joseph’s Hall.
Boxing night – Plans are also being made for the club’s inaugural boxing challenge in February. Anyone who would like to participate should contact Martin Lynch on 07799 345628.
Lotto – Last week’s Lotto numbers were 8, 22, 25, 26 & 27. Four draw winners of £25 each were Seamus Gallagher, Bronagh McDermott, Mary Fleming and Conall McElholm.
Sympathy – Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Peadar McKenna who sadly passed away last Friday.
