St. Enda’s U14 hurlers wrapped up a long season on Wednesday evening with their final indoor session and a Player Awards ceremony in the clubrooms. All the boys received special photographic mementos of their season and two special awards were handed out on the evening with Ciaran Lagan named as U14 Player of the Year while Mark Corry was named Most Promising Player of the Year.
Team manager Kevin Cunningham paid a special tribute to all the boys for their efforts and commitment throughout the year. A final special award was presented to Liam Flanagan who continued to show special dedication to the club over the year. Liam who will feature with the U16s next season received a signed sliotar and a De La Salle, Waterford, shirt from his hurling hero John Mullane.
