Today’s county final in Healy Park was a special occasion for St. Enda’s as our 1988 senior championship winning team were honoured as the jubilee team of the year. Many of the senior team who defeated Clonoe in the decider 25 years ago were there to receive a special commemorative medal from county chairman, Ciaran McLaughlin in front of a 7,000-plus crowd.

The club plan to stage a further reunion for the teams of 1988 plus the 1963 senior team which also won the championship back in 1963. Date to be announced shortly.
