Weekly news round-up – Thurs 8th August 2013

League action – It’s league action again this Sunday for seniors and reserves with Killyclogher visiting Healy Park for the big local derby game. Throw-in is 2.15pm and 3.45pm.

Summer Social – This Saturday, club members are asked to support the Summer Social at the Mellon County Hotel in aid of youth funds and organised by the Duddy family. Starting at 10am, there is a 40mile cycle event which is open to everyone and later that evening, the celebrations will continue with a BBQ and dance in the Mellon at 8.30pm. Tickets (£12) can be collected at the Mellon, from Tony McGinn or from any youth manager. Tickets will be on sale in the clubrooms on Friday from 8pm.

Summer Camp Registration – Registration for the club’s annual summer camp will commence tomorrow (Fri) between 8-9pm. Sponsored this year by Domino’s, the four-day Camp on 19th-22nd Aug is open to boys and girls aged 6-14 years, offers coaching in Gaelic football, hurling and camogie as well as a range of Scór and cultural activities. Registration forms can be downloaded from the St. Enda’s website, www.omaghstendas.com.

U16 football – Well done to the U16 Devs who recorded a great win in the league last Fri, defeating Urney 5-7 to 4-7. Hard luck to the A team who lost to Carrickmore, 4-9 to 0-13. Both teams will be in action again next Wednesday with the A team away to Cappagh and the Devs away to Clan na Gael.

Kit Shop – The club’s Kit stop opens every Wednesday from 6.30-7.30. Tyrone summer camps bags are available for collection and those people who haven’t collected their Club Omagh Jackets can do so during shop opening.

Lotto – Last week’s (August 1st) Club Lotto numbers were 2, 7, 17, 18 and 26. There were four draw winners of £25 each, Tracy McColgan, Kenny Clarke, Linus Nugent and Rhona Logue.
