Over 200 children are expected to attend the annual St. Enda’s Summer Camp in Healy Park from the 19th to 22nd August.

Sponsored this year by Domino’s of Omagh, the four-day Camp which is open to boys and girls aged 6-14 years, offers coaching in Gaelic football, hurling and camogie as well as a range of Scór and cultural activities.
St. Enda’s and Tyrone players Joe McMahon, Justin McMahon, Conor Clarke, Ronan O’Neill and Barry Tierney helped to launch the event this week with the first registration evening this Friday. The camp is open to all children from the district.

The St. Enda’s players got a great opportunity to try their hand at pizza making during the launch and so impressed (!) was the Domino’s franchise owner, Joggy Dhillon at the lad’s kitchen skills, don’t be surprised to see the Omagh lads serving up a ‘Joey Pepperoni Special’ the next day you pop in to the Derry Road outlet. Be warned!! Check out the photos on our facebook page of how the players got on.

On a serious note, St. Enda’s Youth Officer said the inclusion of a range of Gaelic games activities as well as Scór helped to make the St. Enda’s camp a unique and very popular event last year and he was confident that this year’s camp would be even more successful.

Speaking at the official sponsorship launch of the camp this week, St. Enda’s chairman, Seamus Hannigan said the club was delighted to receive the support of Domino’s which will ensure that it is a great success

Joggy Dhillon, franchisee of Domino’s, Omagh, said that as a local business owner, he and his team were committed to supporting the local community.

“Following on from our fundraiser for Arvalee School and continuous participation in various community raffles and fun days, we are excited and looking forward to our association with Omagh St. Enda’s Summer Camp,” he added.

Registration evenings for the camp will be held in the St. Enda’s Clubrooms on Friday 9th and 16th August between 8pm and 9pm The Camp is open to everyone and costs £20 per child with discount for three or more siblings. Registration forms can be downloaded via the link below.
