Omagh 1-26 Derrylaughan 0-2
Omagh qualified for the quarter finals of this year’s Connollys of Moy Tyrone Senior championship with the minimum of fuss against a Derrylaughan side decimated with injuries at a wet and windy Pomeroy.
Omagh played against the breeze in the opening half but led 10-1 at the break, GO man of the match Ronan O’Neill kicking four with a brace for Oisin Miller.
Omagh hit the net within three minutes of the restart Conor O’Donnell teeing up Ronan O’Neill.
Derrylaughan tried hard throughout, but not being able to call upon eleven starters hampered their ambitions.
Omagh used all full compliment of players with Fionnbharr Taggart coming of the bench to kick a couple of two pointers. Conor Meyler also got valuable game time for St Endas.
On the day Omagh had twelve different scorers as they cruised into the next round.
