Naomh Eanna An Omaigh

Congratulations to our senior hurlers who claimed back to back Tyrone junior hurling titles with an emphatic victory against Naomh Columcille on Sunday. The players will now move forward to the Ulster club championship.

Sundays hurling final was one of seven games hosted by our club at the weekend and our volunteers who worked tirelessly over three days to ensure the games went without a hitch deserve great praise and thanks from the club. It’s back in action for everyone on Friday and Sunday.

Past players and officials came together on Saturday night as we marked the fortieth year of our clubrooms and the teams and players of 1984. It proved to be an emotive and at times emotional night culminating in the unveiling of a plaque to mark the rededication of the premises. A special blessing ceremony will follow.

On the park our Under 16 footballers lost to Drumquin at the weekend while the minor hurlers just came up short against Naomh Columcille on Monday. The footballers face Kildress and Cookstown in league football as the girls play Clonoe in the championship on Sunday.

The clubs Gaelic Start programme started last Saturday and continues every Saturday morning from 9-30am for pre school and P1s. P2 Children will start soon all under the guidance of Cain Bradley.

The Christmas order details are now available on our social media sites and website but there’s a very short turnaround.

Our Tiny Tots on Monday have started their Halloween activities, bring the wee ones and join the fun and friendship.

Scor Na Nog is back with the Tír Eoghan semi finals taking place on  Friday 18th and Saturday 19th October with our County Final on Saturday 9th November. Our club will once again be well represented.

The Club and County App should be downloaded as soon as possible from your app store.
