What a night for our minors. It was tense and finished in the twilight of Galbally but with real character and some superb play the boys booked a place in the County final. At the break there were three points in the game with the Fianna ahead. By the end it was all square Omagh 2-9 Coalisland 4-3……so to extra time.
End to end, some fine points and Omagh up by two, then with the scores level a coalisland penalty saved and level at the end. The penalty shoot out in the fading light and our boys dominated winning 2-0 with Coalisland’s four missed.
Well done to a youthful side and management team who now face Dungannon.
