Panto success – Once again the annual St. Enda’s Christmas pantomime proved to be an outstanding success and last Sunday night the cast and crew received a well deserved standing ovation as they brought the curtain down on fours days of frivolity in St. Joseph’s Hall. Many thanks to everyone who gave so much commitment over the past number of months in order to entertain over 2,000 people who attended the various shows since last Thursday. A special word of thanks to the producers Alison McElhatton, Emma McFarland, Paul Groogan and Orlágh Devine who made it all happen.

All-Star nominations – Congratulations to St. Enda’s senior players Stephen Mullan, Barry Tierney, Joe McMahon, Conan Grugan, Aaron Grugan, Conor Meyler and Ronan O’Neill, who have all received nominations for the Gaelic Life Ulster Club All-Stars. Laurence Strain has also been nominated for Football Manager of the year and Conor Meyler has been nominated for Ulster Young Player of the year. Everyone is encouraged to vote for our players at www.gaeliclife.com

Ulster Scór semis – The panto was a great way to round off a highly successful season for St. Enda’s, but for some club members, the work continues and this Saturday evening the club will be represented in three acts in the Ulster Scór na nÓg semi-finals in Corcahan Community Centre, Co. Monaghan. Good luck to the Ceili and Set Dancing teams and to Emily Duffy in Recitation.

Christmas party – Last Saturday, the club’s annual children’s Christmas party was held in the Omagh CBS sportshall and many thanks to everyone who attended a very successful event. Gaelic Start sessions will now take a break until the 6th February. A date for the club’s annual dinner and presentation will be announced shortly. The annual general meeting is fixed for Tuesday 13th January and nomination forms will be available shortly.

Club Omagh membership – If you are looking for a novel Christmas present idea why not treat the St. Enda’s supporter in your life to Club Omagh membership in 2015. Members will receive a special Club Omagh jacket as well as a number of other benefits including free admission to all St. Enda’s home league games in 2015 and free membership of the club gym. Most importantly you will contribute to club development plans and leave a lasting legacy for our youth. Contact Paul O’Neill (07772 738462) or Paul Meldrum (07769 727990) for details.

Sympathy – The Executive Committee and club members extend their deepest sympathy to the family circle of the late Mrs Brigid Mullan who passed away on Sunday. Mrs Mullan is the mother of the club’s Assistant Treasurer Kevin and grandmother to club players Christopher, Stephen, James, Danny and Colm.

Lotto – Last week’s (4th Dec) Club Lotto numbers are 9, 10, 24, 26, 29. There was no winner of the £5,000 Jackpot. The four draw winners of £25 each are John Kane, Aiden McSorley, Christina Quinn and P. Loughran.
