The joy brought by winning the O’Neill Cup for the first time in 26 years has touched many St. Enda’s people – at home and abroad.

Since that memorable day on the 28th September, the Cup has visited many homes in the parish and for those who were unable to attend the county final such as the legendary Paddy Devlin who was a member of the 1957 winning panel and part of the backroom team on the 1963 winning team, being able to get their hands on the coveted trophy after all those years simply demonstrated the significance of our recent win.

A long time club and county administrator and a renowned All-Ireland referee, Paddy recently received a special visit from Seamus Hannigan and the O’Neill Cup and the pictures tell their own story.

This win was for you Paddy and the many other men and women of St. Enda’s who have given much to make us the club we are.
