Omagh 4-7 Clonoe 0-11

A great start with two goals in the first three minutes from Joe Colton and Thomas Hannigan set Omagh on the way to a victory over reigning county champions Clonoe in Pomeroy tonight. Despite a spirited fight back by Clonoe who replied with eight points to lead by 0-8 to 2-1 after 25 mins Omagh responded with another goal from Mickey Gallagher and two points from Joe Colton to lead by 3-3 to 0-8 at half time.

A further goal from Joe Colton three minutes into the second half followed by three points from Rory McBride gave Omagh a ten point lead ten minutes into the second half. They totally dominated proceedings to the end and Clonoe registered their first point of the second half in the 27th minute. This was a great all round performance from the Omagh team who now go on to play Carrickmore in the final.
