The Club Executive and members wish to extend their condolences to the families and friends of the following on their recent bereavements.
Pat McCallan – Carrickmore, died 11th August. The late Mr McCallan is grandfather of club member Donna McDaid, wife of vice-chairman, Ciaran McDaid. Mr McCallan was well known within GAA and drama circles in Carrickmore and was a leading member of the Patrician Players.
Rose Mulholland (nee MacRory) – Deerpark, Omagh, died 2nd August. Mrs Mulholland was wife of the late Eddie Mulholland a member of the 1948 St. Enda’s minor team, sister of former minor and senior players Colm and Pat MacRory and aunt of Sean, Simon and Colm MacRory.
Margaret Gormley (nee Sharkey) – Woodbank Road, Arvalee, died 6th August. Aunt of Tommy Sharkey, St. Joseph’s Hall caretaker.
Fred Perkins – 12 Gardenville Avenue, Omagh, died 13th July. The late Fred (Freddie) will be fondly remembered as a goalkeeper with the club’s juvenile teams who took part in the St. Enda’s district league in the 1950s. Freddie played for the St. Patrick’s street league team along with the Johnson brothers Tommy (RIP) and Peter, Michael Floyd, Henry MacRory, Paddy Phillips, Brendan O’Donnell and Tony Brogan among others.
