First ever Ulster Ballad title for St. Enda’s Scór na nÓg team, Caitlín Campbell, Aoife McCullagh, Tom McClements, Shaunagh Poyntz and Beth McElhatton

Congratulations to the St. Enda’s Ballad Group team of Beth McElhatton, Aoife McCullagh, Caitlín Campbell, Shaunagh Poyntz and Tom McClements who were tonight crowned Ulster Scór na nOg Champions in Silverbridge.

This was a fantastic achievement for the group which lifted the Club’s second ever Ulster title in this category after they fended off stiff opposition from Lavey and Saul. Aoife and Beth now have two Ulster medals.

In 2012, our Ballad group of Caolan and Aoife McCullagh, Conal O’Kane, Kerri-Ann O’Hagan and Beth McElhatton went all the way to the All-Ireland final.

Unfortunately there was dsiappointment for our gallant Céilí Dance group who were narrowly pipped in their bid for a record 11th Ulster crown by Whitecross of Armagh. The Céilí team was  Caitlin Brophy, Clare McGlone, Emiear Connolly, Breonna Colton, Laura Stockton, Clodagh McCann, Jane Lucy Maguire, Catherine Maguire. Hard luck girls, but you have done your Club and families very proud.
