Club Notes JournalistOmaghSenior football – Well done to the seniors who finished the league last Sunday with a credible 0-13 apiece draw against Ardboe. After 15 games they finished in joint eighth position. The Reserves game with Ardboe was cancelled and they also finished in eighth position.

U16 football – Hard luck to the U16′s who bowed out of the championship last Saturday at the semi-final stage when they lost to a strong Coalisland side at Donaghmore. The boys staged a great comback in the second half to come from 14 points down to lose in the end by 2-18 to 3-10. Well done to all the players and their management for a great effort throughout the season and to anyone who supported the team in their campaign.

Busy Scór scene – Scór action returned last Sunday and after a long evening in Dun Uladh where we had an impressive 16 acts on stage with 60 children involved, 14 of them got through to the semi final in Newtownstewart on Friday 15th November at 7.30pm.  Hard luck to our 2 quiz teams who unfortunately didn’t make it through.

Gaelic Start – Gaelic Start also resumes this Saturday in the CBS from 10am for U6 players.

Lotto – Last week’s (Oct 31st) Club Lotto numbers were 2, 5, 16, 17 and 23. No winner of the £5,000 Jackpot. 4 draw winners of £25 each are Seamus Haigney, Frank Connolly , Noleen Brennan and Adrian Liggiett.
